I frequently stroll past this establishment and decided to visit for the first time tonight to have my gel x removed. I neglected to peruse the feedback, and now I regret it. Initially, (like others) they attempted to lift the gel x ends with a transit pass and then resorted to using a drill, excessively shaving them down to the point of discomfort. I couldn't retrieve my credit card from my wallet without causing pain to myself and ended up in tears on my way home. This was my premiere visit to this spot and I’m let down. I spied reviews online and opted to reserve a silk press for an upcoming birthday. I reached my appointment punctually and my stylist was on hand and got right to work. She offered me some counsel on flat ironing my hair at home and some product recommendations. She was kind and easy to collaborate with. Why 2 stars? I reserved a silk press with cut/trim and I did not receive a silk press. My hair looks more like a blow out that I did myself and this is only HOURS after I departed the shop. While my hair feels soft, it is also a tad dry. The trim I got was decent, but I think more should’ve been taken off. My hair I observed also had a slight burnt scent as I walked home.
