I haven’t visited a nail salon since I moved to Chicago (2 years ago) because I used to work as a nail technician and was very particular about my nails. Glamour Nails is exceptionally modern, spotless, and the team is welcoming. Today, I had an appointment with Bella for a basic pedicure and gel manicure, and she was exceptional. I adore how she paid attention to every detail of my nails and didn’t rush through the process. Bella always ensured I approved of the colors and shapes before proceeding. I visited this salon for the first time to have my roots bleached, touched up, colored, and trimmed. The service was exceptional! Elaine was incredibly kind and did a fantastic job with my trim. I also want to mention the lovely lady who did a beautiful job with my hair bleaching, although I can't recall her name. Despite a slight language barrier, she even brought me a snack as I was there for a while during the processing. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of work. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely return soon! The massage I received was truly one of the best I've ever had. I opted for the 60-minute body massage and 30-minute foot massage with Wen, and she was exceptional. The prices are very reasonable. There is a call box at the address to press so they let you in but when I arrived, a person came down without me buzzing and let me inside. 60 minute back rub = $55, 15 min foot rub $15 which I think is a great deal. Definitely a popular place. Looked clean and didn’t feel sketchy at all. Rooms are separated by curtains and then they have a separate area for reflexology. I have only tried sugaring before, so this was my first experience with a Brazilian Wax, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and painless it was! It was much more relaxing than sugaring, and I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. The conversation was great, and all the hair was effectively removed. I especially appreciated the post-wax oils that kept my skin hydrated and free of ingrown hairs.
