I frequently stroll past this establishment and decided to visit for the first time tonight to have my gel x removed. I neglected to peruse the feedback, and now I regret it. Initially, (like others) they attempted to lift the gel x ends with a transit pass and then resorted to using a drill, excessively shaving them down to the point of discomfort. I couldn't retrieve my credit card from my wallet without causing pain to myself and ended up in tears on my way home. This has made me hesitant to keep up with it. Leah, at the Tribeca branch, was fantastic! She gave me advice on managing discomfort, guided me through breathing techniques, and used smaller strips to reduce the pain. While waxing will never be easy for me, working with Leah made it bearable and even changed my perspective on consistency.
