It's always a challenge to try a new barber. Excellent and speedy haircuts available here. I would suggest this place. The cost for a men's haircut is $30 before gratuity, they only accept cash. I purchased a voucher for $38 for a 60-minute deep tissue massage with hot stones. The regular price for the massage on the website is $48. Upon arrival, they insisted on a $5 tax payment. Nowhere on the voucher does it mention this. They claim it's in the fine print??? When using a voucher, I have already paid for the service I am purchasing. I have used vouchers in the past for massages and have never been asked for a “tax”. This establishment seems to be trying to extract more money from clients. Furthermore, the therapist attempted to pressure me into leaving a tip before the treatment. When have you ever left a tip before receiving a service, especially a massage?! In the massage room, the table was very rigid, and the only covering available was a towel with stains. Lastly, the therapist never inquired about which areas I wanted to focus on. I ended up lying on my back for the entire 60 minutes. The massage itself was decent, but the customer service was lacking. The front desk person acted as if we were an hour late, and given the situation, they could have accommodated me. I traveled all the way from Brooklyn for my haircut, and it's truly disappointing.
