Yoshi is a master at her work! Let me start off by saying that this is the first time I’ve ever visited her salon, and my experience was celebrity stylist quality to say the least, and I couldn’t have been happier. Her skills her knowledge experience is unmatched. I felt like I was being treated like a movie star. This was my first time doing Japanese hair, straightening known as thermal reconditioning. It was fantastic. She spoke to me, broke everything down as how everything was going to go down. The process was simple and we spoke the entire time. My fiancée was present with me, and she can agree. She had a great time at the salon. She said she felt like she was in a spa. I’d like to thank Yoshi for this experience, and I will be returning for my touchups within 4-6 months and I’m looking forward to my Hair journey with her. I do recommend friends and family to visit the salon. If looking to get their hair straightened by a professional, she knows her stuff book immediately don’t think twice just book. I still make it a priority to visit her in NY 1-2 times annually because no one else comes close. The experience of getting my hair styled by Terue is more rejuvenating than therapy, as I feel and look significantly better afterward. She is a genuine artist, meticulously precise in her hair cutting technique. This was my premiere visit to this spot and I’m let down. I spied reviews online and opted to reserve a silk press for an upcoming birthday. I reached my appointment punctually and my stylist was on hand and got right to work. She offered me some counsel on flat ironing my hair at home and some product recommendations. She was kind and easy to collaborate with. Why 2 stars? I reserved a silk press with cut/trim and I did not receive a silk press. My hair looks more like a blow out that I did myself and this is only HOURS after I departed the shop. While my hair feels soft, it is also a tad dry. The trim I got was decent, but I think more should’ve been taken off. My hair I observed also had a slight burnt scent as I walked home.
