I was impressed by the professionalism of Jeanette at the reception, who took the time to give my husband and me a thorough tour of the spa. Our massage therapists were excellent at providing the exact type of massage we desired. My therapist Bob delivered a wonderfully soothing deep tissue massage. While there isn't a couples room, we each had our own sessions and reconvened afterwards. However, during my recent visit, I requested the same taper fade two block cut from the female barber. Unfortunately, the result did not meet my expectations. While I acknowledge that each barber has unique skills, the outcome was simply unacceptable. Despite my reservations, I paid and tipped accordingly. They do a good job with haircuts, but the front desk has zero flexibility. I was going to be late for my appointment due to rain, and I even informed them that I would be 10 minutes late. When I arrived exactly 10 minutes late, there was no one waiting and the barbers were idle. The front desk person acted as if we were an hour late, and given the situation, they could have accommodated me. I traveled all the way from Brooklyn for my haircut, and it's truly disappointing.
