I was disappointed with the makeup and hairstyles provided by her, as she ruined my look and made me cry. She did not have the right foundation for my skin tone and conducted the session in a restroom, resulting in my skin appearing darker in photographs. Despite my requests for a brighter complexion, she made it darker. I paid $300 for the appointment, and she seemed rushed and frustrated throughout. She neglected to assist with my traditional dress and lacked experience and respect for clients. I found her rushed approach unprofessional and would not recommend her services.
Lorin is an incredibly skilled makeup artist. She enhanced my features beautifully on my wedding day, emphasizing my eyes and cheekbones while skillfully minimizing a small facial scar. I was so pleased with her work that I hired her for a work event, where she provided makeup lessons and beautified our small team. Everyone was thrilled with their glamorous makeovers!
Upon returning to NYC for an event after several years, I once again chose Lorin for my makeup, and once again, she exceeded my expectations. I received numerous compliments and felt truly heard when describing the look I desired. Lorin's tips were invaluable, and the newly renovated bathroom space for makeup application was both cozy and elegant. Having your makeup done by an artist with an eye for detail and beauty truly makes a difference.
