I had an unpleasant experience with the receptionist at this spa. She made inappropriate comments about my skin color, stating that they only work on white skin. It would have been better if this policy was clearly stated beforehand to avoid wasting time and encountering such rude behavior. Based on other reviews, I consider myself fortunate to have not undergone any procedures at this establishment.
I visited the spa for colon hydrotherapy, and my experience was delightful. Tatiana, the practitioner, was extremely professional and respectful. My appointments were punctual, and I also tried the lipotropic shot which was administered with such a gentle touch that I didn't feel any discomfort at all.
This spa should definitely be closed down! I fail to comprehend how they are still in operation. I wish there was an option to leave a rating of less than one star. I have not encountered such unprofessionalism in a long time. I purchased a service voucher through Groupon, scheduled an appointment via their website, and received confirmation via email. Today, I traveled from Brooklyn to Manhattan for my 11am appointment, only to be informed upon arrival that I did not have an appointment. Despite showing them the email confirmation, the staff, particularly a lady with an African accent, insisted that I had no appointment. After I left, they sent an email canceling the supposed non-existent appointment. The lady claimed that she doesn't send emails, it's the computer. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I left without receiving the facial I had scheduled and have no intention of using the Groupon voucher at this establishment. Save your time and avoid this place at all costs!
