The nail polish application was decent, but my primary reason for the appointment was for a manicure, which involves caring for the hands, and unfortunately, that was lacking. The person who did my nails didn't even trim my cuticles; she pretended to do so, but I could see that she wasn't actually cutting them. It was quite frustrating as they clearly lack the skills to provide a proper manicure. On top of that, I had to tip her, and for what? Not receiving a proper manicure??? Very disappointed!!!! You can still see my nails and the dead skin left unattended.
They did a fantastic job with my nails, and the brief back rub was a pleasant surprise. However, they tend to overcharge for tips. Their prices are reasonable, but they practically forced me to tip my technician 20%. I appreciated her work, no doubt, but the decision to tip should always be left to me.
My preferred beauty salon in the metropolis! I always schedule an appointment in advance as they tend to get quite busy, but they are always very accommodating when I call ahead, even if it's last minute. I don't have a specific nail technician preference, but all of them pay great attention to detail and are patient when helping me choose colors. I particularly enjoy the brief shoulder massage that comes with my gel manicure, and I always leave with a smile on my face, loving my nails.
