I've been on the hunt for a nail salon in Albany for quite some time. The catch is, I have very specific preferences. I love intricate designs, but only with gel and on my natural nails. Since I've been growing out my nails after switching from gel x, they aren't quite as long as I'd like yet, so I was worried about the limited space for designs. I booked my appointment online, but I would recommend calling instead, as there was a slight mix-up with my online booking, causing me to wait for about 40 minutes. Nevertheless, it was totally worth it! Yasmine took care of me today, and as you can see from the photos, she absolutely nailed it. The salon was clean and inviting! The staff was efficient and friendly. The best part is, it's just a short 5-minute walk from my place! I had high hopes for this salon and wanted to be a regular, but my hair felt like straw after the second visit. I stayed silent because the stylist and the owner showed no interest. ***Avoid wasting time and money on inexperienced staff expecting quality work.*** A friend recommended this place for a powder set and gel pedicure. Disappointed with the thick nails, lack of foot scrubbing, untrimmed toenails, and overall amateurish look. Spending $110 on such poor quality was frustrating. Unbeknownst to me, only 3 out of the 20 employees are skilled, and they're always fully booked. When I returned for fixes, the absent owner left me hanging, so I opted to have everything removed.
