Donica is extremely knowledgeable, she detailed every aspect of my facial and addressed all of my inquiries. My partner and I had a fantastic experience at Selfe Steam Nola! It exceeded all our expectations. The place is charming, with fantastic all-natural products, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed a couples foot soak together, and I also had the yoni steam service. Sharing this TLC experience was incredibly refreshing. I would love to make this a monthly ritual, and I highly recommend it to both men and women. Thank you for creating a space where individuals and couples can prioritize self-care and healing.

I waited a week before sharing my review because initially, I was satisfied with my hair post-salon visit. However, the high cost of the service, the overall salon experience, and my current dissatisfaction with my hair have prompted me to write this review. Here are my grievances in chronological order: 1. I paid $225 for a closure sew in, the highest amount I've ever spent on this service. The numerous positive reviews convinced me I would receive top-tier quality. 2. My appointment was at 2 pm. As a new client, I arrived early, completed paperwork, and paid upfront. Despite the appointment time, I waited over two hours as my hairdresser finished another client's sew in. It then took an additional two hours to cornrow my hair. I left the salon at 9:30 pm, much later than anticipated. The service was supposed to take four hours, but I spent the entire day there, canceling my evening plans. 3. The salon's hypocrisy regarding client rules was evident. I was never offered discounts despite the significant delay. The hairdresser's son was present, causing disruptions and diverting attention from my service. 4. Despite the salon experience, I initially liked my hair. However, I later discovered loose threads and poorly sewn tracks, causing discomfort and dissatisfaction. My hairdresser, Jasmine, was kind, but the overall experience and hair quality were disappointing. Paying $225 to wait over two hours, spend over seven hours in the salon, compete for attention, and receive a subpar sew in is unacceptable. 1/10, would not repeat.

On my inaugural visit to Salon Society, I was attended to by Alex who provided me with the best men's haircut I've ever had. They took the time to inquire about my haircut preferences, asking me a series of questions to ensure it was tailored to my liking. The cut was extremely precise and uniform. Additionally, they elaborated on various products that could help maintain my hairstyle, without any pressure to make a purchase. I will certainly be returning.

On my second visit here, the first time was fantastic but this time the gentleman rushed through my pedicure. I pointed out that my first foot looked messy before he even finished painting it. Two other team members glanced over and whispered something, and he just said "it will have two coats," when I mentioned they usually apply a white base, he insisted no... So, I won't be returning EVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Excellent salon. I have been a loyal customer for many years. I always leave feeling fabulous and looking amazing. Exceptional service and a highly talented team.

I surprised my husband with an appointment at Maison De Cheveux. This was an exceptional experience from start to finish...for both of us. From the owner to the newest team member, we felt like part of the family. There was no sense of rush, and they paid attention to every detail my husband requested. Pricey? Perhaps...but what value can you place on your spouse's happiness? Knowing that my husband had been struggling to find a good stylist in our small town, I had no hesitation in booking this for him. In fact, he's already scheduled his next appointment...and I get to explore my favorite city! A win-win situation!

The most fantastic my hair has appeared in ages. Departed the shop feeling fantastic! Wonderful individuals, incredibly charming establishment! Appreciations
