I am so utterly let down. Disgusted. And incredibly irritated. I brought my daughter (2 years old) to the ER last night for a nursemaid elbow (dislocated elbow). She has a history of this, and it can easily occur since it has happened before. I was aware of this and informed them that she had dislocated her elbow by getting her arm stuck in her jacket while taking it off. (Yes, I know it can happen) I informed them that this had occurred before to the same elbow with the same pain and symptoms. The nurses and the receptionist were wonderful. Understanding and all, but unfortunately, Dr. Ha Hatley was not. And regrettably, that was my daughter's doctor that night. Upon seeing us (two young parents and a 2-year-old), she immediately assumed that I was mistreating my child. She stated that my explanation didn't make sense, that the pain couldn't be from removing a jacket / from a nursemaid elbow. Even after informing her that this had happened before, that she has a history and we had been previously told she is more prone to it, she gave me a skeptical look and had an x-ray done (which is totally fine to ensure nothing else was wrong). What wasn't fine was that she didn't show me the x-ray, didn't have a radiologist review it, and didn't inform me of anything besides assuming it was a fracture. She said "Questionable fracture" Called Children's Mercy and I could hear her on the phone across the room and she not only insinuated that my "story" was false but also said that it didn't make sense. This was relayed to the Mercy hospital staff. After the call, she came in, checked my daughter for bruises (obviously finding nothing because she is well cared for), and kept remarking on how it was strange and didn't add up. My daughter was put in a splint and told to wait until Monday for Children's Mercy to contact us (yes, 4 days with no update). The kind nurse who put the splint on my daughter informed me that a CPS investigation would likely be opened due to the nature of the incident (this has happened to her 2 other times, and the doctors just reset her elbow, and she was perfectly fine within 5 minutes). So, I went to Eldorado Hospital/Clinic the very next morning for a second opinion, and within an hour, they informed me that no fracture was found (confirmed by 2 doctors and a radiologist) and that the splint worsened her nursemaid elbow, causing more pain and soreness, as it was not set promptly after the incident like I had tried to do. I am truly devastated by how quickly things turned against a mother just trying to care for her child. And how swiftly, with no evidence, I was portrayed as something I am not. My daughter is now in pain in her arm and having difficulty using it due to the soreness of being out of place overnight. All because of one neglectful, judgmental, unprofessional doctor. Nevada, MO, dismiss this dreadful doctor. And if you ask me if I recommend this hospital, I unequivocally say no. I will no longer support the Nevada hospital. I had a prenatal appointment in Nevada, and I am now transferring to Pittsburgh. I will attend all necessary clinic and hospital visits in Eldorado where the doctors prioritize the well-being of their patients.

I have had 2 MRIs with Alex now. He is very kind, skilled at his job, and puts you at ease. He is just a good person overall! Thanks, Alex. A few days later, I went in for a couple of CT scans. Taylor assisted me that time. She was friendly, courteous, and professional! Taylor also puts you at ease. Moreover, she was just a
