I recently visited Colyn at True Blue salon, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! He took the time to listen to what I wanted, offered great suggestions, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The attention to detail and skill are unmatched. I walked out feeling like a brand new person. The salon atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. I highly recommend Colyn to anyone looking for a talented and professional stylist. I’ll definitely be back!

Stylist took her time and asked a lot of great questions to get me where I wanted to be with my color. Color is stunning and she gave me a great blowout! The only negative of my experience was that I was under the impression that my total cost would be the deposit that I paid when booking online (+ a tip of course) so I was a bit shocked when I had a balance upon checking out. Possibly may need a larger notice for folks like me. I don’t know. Great service and salon, will be back!

My hair color before and after coming here. I really hated how it looked and from certain lightening, the sides of my hair turned out grey and the front came out uneven and looked like chunky highlights which is not what I wanted. When I asked them a month later to fix it, they declined me because they had a 2-week policy which I did not know of. I remember letting my curls dry to see how they’d turn out and it was nothing like how I wanted. I would’ve gone sooner but I didn’t want my hair to get damaged so I wanted to wait before going back to let my stylist Caitlyn fix it. Although she was really nice and welcoming, my hair turned out horrible and botched. I paid $210 + $20 tip and that was the last of my money. I can’t afford to go back for her to charge me again and probably mess up for the 2nd time. The 2nd and 3rd photo were 4 days AFTER getting my hair bleached at True Blue salon and I have proof of the date the photo was taken. Also when I first called, they said my highlights would cost $185, when I went to pay it turned out to be $210 and all she did was bleach and tone it, no color at all. If you have curly hair, (anything 3C-4A) do NOT waste your time here. Yes, they’re nice but the work is terrible and a waste of money. Not only is my hair damaged now for no reason, but the color is also tacky and botched. I felt like an experiment for them to play around in my hair, I realized I messed up when they tried styling my curls and had no idea what they were doing with it. Being nice won’t fix my hair or bring my money back.
