I have lived in Chicago my whole life and as a teenager I would buy 3 blue shirts for $20 every Friday and I have made an effort to support Chris and his daughter but when Chris acquired LUX he gradually altered the level of service. they NEVER DISPLAY price tags and it is a common practice here to overcharge you based on your appearance. if you inquire "how much" on any item they will likely inflate the price if they perceive you as an easy target and they do. last week the daughter charged me $5 for an accessory and this week Chris sells me the same one and claims it's now $10. this is not the first time this has occurred. I would need to send my child's father in there because he charges me an extra 10-20 dollars on the same items he purchases but he's a male so he doesn't face the same issue. I purchased a gadget here and for $20 he said I could have a pre-owned one from the display case and not a new gadget, it only lasted 3 weeks then the switch broke off. at monarch's tech store (TechTrend) they offer the $20 gadgets that Nebula sells for $40. the identical vape pens that are $30 at TechTrend are priced at $50-90 over at Nebula. I will never visit Nebula and support Chris and his daughter again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Despite negative feedback, I took a chance due to a fully booked alternative. I presented a picture of my desired look to Cindy, who claimed she could deliver. I requested acrylic nails with a black French tip. The procedure was swift and painless, but the outcome is abysmal. Despite numerous attempts to fix the French tip, after the fourth try, I couldn't bear it any longer and allowed her to ruin my nails. They are horribly uneven, unattractive, and have left me feeling even more dissatisfied.
