Awful customer service experience. I arrived at 5:59 on a Sunday to pick up a single item for my daughter's hair. The door was unlocked, but I was rudely told "we're closed" as I entered. Even though I just needed one item, the lady insisted the register was already closed. I offered to pay in exact cash, but she still refused to make a sale. If a customer walks in at 5:59, they should still be treated with respect and served.
I purchased a UV top coat from this place, expecting great quality. Instead, I received a top coat that never completely hardens, no matter how long I cure it in the UV lamp. It's a no-wipe UV top coat, and I'm following all the usual steps, but this one isn't worth the $12 I spent. The staff also exacerbated my anxiety during my visit.
Encountered a very disrespectful store manager today. My spouse went in to purchase some root cover-up, a product he has been getting from Sally's for years. The manager claimed they never sold the type he was asking for. Despite his insistence, she flatly denied that he had ever bought it there. As a store manager myself, I would never speak to a customer in such a dismissive manner. Sally's needs to improve their hiring and training practices. We have been loyal patrons, but we won't be returning.
