I was referred to Glamour Cuts by my brother and I'm so grateful he did. I don't frequent hair salons often and while I had a vague idea of what I wanted, I trusted my stylist to work her magic. I was paired with Alex and she exceeded all expectations! She was incredibly personable and put me at ease. Alex took the time to assess my hair, inquire about my lifestyle, and understand my desires. I wanted a low-maintenance style that would still look fabulous with minimal effort. And she delivered. Alex retained most of my length but added some much-needed movement. She expertly blended my roots with my natural color and introduced stunning warm balayage highlights. The result surpassed my imagination and looks fantastic even with just an air dry. Glamour Cuts prices vary based on stylist levels, and Alex falls in the mid-range. While it can be a bit pricey depending on the service, this has been my best salon experience yet. I've been a loyal customer at this nail salon for years now. I absolutely adore Alex!!! However, my last three visits have been quite disappointing. Not because of Alex, but due to the other staff members. Usually, we visit the salon on Saturdays and, according to management, only one out of the three employees actually knows how to do acrylics... my sister needed a fill-in and the technician who was supposed to help her let another customer go ahead after an hour wait. The manager claimed my sister was extremely rude, which was not the case at all. I had to explain the situation to her, even though I shouldn't have had to in the first place. The lack of professionalism at this place is truly disappointing. Unless I can guarantee that Alex will be the one doing my nails, I won't be returning. We've given them multiple chances, thinking they just needed more support. I highly recommend Alex at City Nails and would give her 10 stars if I could. However, the other technicians are unprofessional.
