Jim Smith is truly exceptional. His artwork is breathtaking and his rates are reasonable. Always in good spirits and genuinely funny, to the point where you don't even realize you're getting a tattoo.
Inkworks is an amazing studio with talented artists. Dana has been looking after me for many years now. Her work is truly outstanding and speaks volumes. Not only that, she is a down-to-earth and friendly person, easy to collaborate with and have a conversation with, a genuinely kind individual. Sarah, and every other artist, staff member, and customer at the studio have all been wonderful people. The whole team also knows how to have a good time. I have traveled from New York, Miami, and as far as Japan multiple times a year since my first visit for this exact reason. As an illustration of just how amazing these individuals are, Dana completed my first tattoo after the most intense blizzard in Denver in a couple of decades, when practically nobody was allowed on the roads and those who dared faced a myriad of challenges. We adjusted the schedule and navigated the impending disaster on the roads to make something happen, as she knew I had flown there specifically for this purpose. If you want high-quality ink, sometimes it requires a willingness to wait and/or go the extra mile...or trudge through the snow. This is the place, for both top-notch ink and exceptional individuals. Highly recommended!
Jim is incredibly hilarious and a skilled tattoo artist. He made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
