I asked for a French tip on my nails and toes, along with a simple flower design. I prefer not to use gel polish as I find the removal process tedious, especially since I don't frequent nail salons. The nail technician kept pushing me to opt for gel, insisting that my desired design could only be achieved with gel. This was puzzling, as they had just done a similar design on my aunt's nails using regular polish. Moreover, they did not fulfill the design I requested and rushed through my nails. The polish was already chipped as soon as I left the salon. Images attached.
Today marked my initial visit to Olive Nails. I have been a patron of another local establishment, but felt the urge to explore different options. Right from my initial call to book the appointment, I was impressed. The individuals on the other end of the line were exceedingly pleasant and welcoming. Upon arrival, the place was bustling, yet I was greeted with beaming faces and directed to choose a color. I began with my pedicure. Kim was exceptional. Incredibly gentle and diligently ensured my toenails were well taken care of. Kim also tended to my nails. In the past, I had acrylics with gel polish, which I had requested again this time. However, I was advised on a healthier alternative for my nails. All the gel and acrylics were removed, and I opted for dip powder. Once more, Kim did a fantastic job. I will certainly be returning. Thank you to everyone for being so warm and welcoming :)
This visit marked my first time at this establishment, and after seeing numerous recommendations for Michelle, I specifically requested her - and she did not disappoint! Nail shaping? Flawless, a solid 10/10! Engaging conversation and she truly made me feel at ease. I showed her a photo of the design I desired, and she executed it flawlessly! I am thrilled to have discovered both a salon and a nail technician just a short 5-minute drive from my residence!
