Typically, my visits to Oasis Nails are pleasant. However, last week, I went there to get my nails done. I absolutely dislike how they turned out; little time was spent on them, one of my nails was filed down too harshly on the side, and the paint is already chipping off. It was a gel manicure.
Crystal did my nails and was truly exceptional. I've never tried dip nails before (I had requested acrylic and was planning on doing gel). Around a week after getting them done, my thumbs started to lift. Today, half of my thumb nail broke off.
I requested a manicure with dip color. The technician immediately applied the dip without even doing the manicure and cleaning up my cuticles, so when I left, it didn't look like a fresh manicure and the dip appeared very thin. I appreciated being accommodated quickly, but I'm unsure if they rushed because of a busy schedule. The dip started chipping the very next day, and I'm quite disappointed that I paid for a dip manicure that didn't even last 5 days.
