Update: We had a second FIL/SIL gel mani session and they hurriedly removed my yellow nails, taking off too much of the nail surface. Both thumbs have the worst spots and they somewhat ache - they're bumpy and uneven due to the aggressive removal of the old gel. Overall, they look okay but the experience wasn't as great as the first time. It seems to depend on the nail technician you get that day.

The salon utilized a glue that they were not equipped to eliminate, resulting in a lengthy, poorly executed, and basic process that harmed my natural nails. I would not suggest opting for glue-on nails at this venue. Instead, I would advise inquiring about the removal procedure before getting your glue-on nails applied.
