I am revising my feedback about the hair coloring service I received in early September. I noticed uneven and chunky highlights at the back of my head, as well as harsh lines of demarcation on the money piece and crown area, which were not apparent to me at the salon (I had asked for a full head of well-blended baby highlights). I shared photos highlighting these issues but have not received a response, leaving me feeling disappointed. While I believe my stylist and the salon owner are nice individuals, I would have preferred if they acknowledged the mistakes made during my service instead of dismissing my feedback, suggesting that I am nitpicking, attributing the issues to different lighting in the photos, and so on. I may return for a haircut but will likely avoid getting a color service, as it is frustrating to spend nearly $400 and invest extra time in explaining and showing them the discrepancies that they may either acknowledge or attribute to lighting or claim that my phone has a filter. It seems futile to request any corrections when they do not acknowledge the existence of a problem that they can address.
I felt the need for a change in my hair color, and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was impeccable, and I felt warmly welcomed! The compliments I have received reaffirm that I will definitely return to ReCreations :)
