I was thrilled to discover an Ultra outlet in my vicinity. Eager to pay a visit, my anticipation quickly waned upon entering. As the sole individual of Asian descent in the store, I roamed aimlessly without a single greeting or offer of assistance. It took circling the establishment four times before a staff member reluctantly approached me, perhaps deeming me suspicious. Inquiring about a specific makeup brand, I was met with the unsurprising revelation that they did not stock shades suitable for my skin tone. However, an array of options catering to very fair individuals was readily available. When I questioned the young lady about this discrepancy, her response was a dismissive "we simply do not carry those shades." It is disheartening that while I appreciate diversity, it does not always reciprocate. Despite the insignificance, I shall allocate my diligently earned nursing income elsewhere.
