Barber arrived at work intoxicated and messed up a client's hair. Another barber had to intervene to stop her. A heated argument ensued in the shop to prevent the intoxicated barber from driving home. I decided to leave before my turn, not wanting to risk it. Hopefully, the intoxicated barber faces consequences as it's unfair to the other barber and risky for clients. Kudos to the responsible barber for taking a stand. If I return and the intoxicated barber is still there, I'll find another place for a haircut.
I've been a loyal customer at this salon for years, and the service has been mostly good. However, today, while watching a sports channel, a stylist came in and changed it to a shark documentary on The Discovery Channel. I asked her to switch it back, which she did. Then, another stylist changed it back to the documentary, stating it was more interesting. The salon is named "SPORTCLIPS," not Sharkclips. It's disappointing that the employee prioritized their preference over the customers. I won't be returning here. This incident reflects poor management, if any.
Beware of the hair cutter here. It was the worst haircut experience I've had in a while. Initially, I felt like I was on a hidden camera show with how wet he sprayed my hair, making me shake it off like a dog. Despite no camera, I asked for a quarter inch off the top and more in the front, but he took off half an inch all around. The clippers cut into my skin repeatedly. He used cool air to blow dry my hair while aggressively brushing my scalp. The hair wash was with cold water. The haircut turned out patchy, and I'll have to fix it myself. The fade was decent, but I'd advise against letting this person cut your hair.
