My experience at this salon was incredibly disappointing. The listed price for a regular pedicure was $36, yet I was charged $50. Despite the foot scrub, my feet remained dry and not smooth. The promised lower leg massage was nonexistent. My friend, who opted for an acrylic fill, was continuously pressured to upgrade to a new set, with the technician criticizing her existing nails. Refusing the new set led to passive-aggressive behavior and rough handling of her hands. The gel polish applied was streaky and bubbly, with excess polish on her skin. I strongly advise against visiting this salon.
Making an appointment here last minute turned out to be a dreadful experience! The staff was impolite and dismissive, spending only 10 minutes on my pedicure resulting in barely visible color. I had three different individuals work on my acrylics, with a 20-minute wait between each. While my sister was also getting her nails done, one of her nails broke off, taking her real nail with it. The next morning, the skin around my toenails was swollen and bright red. This was truly a terrible experience, and I have never felt compelled to leave such a negative review before.
I had visited Elite Nails around 5 years ago and had a smooth experience. Last week, unable to get into my regular nail salon, I decided to try this place. They accommodated me quickly, with only a 10-minute wait. The technician was friendly but a bit rough and seemed distracted at times. Upon closer inspection at home, I noticed the shape was slightly off on one finger, and my fiancee pointed out that the fill wasn't as neat as usual. There was a noticeable gap, and the paint and acrylic didn't cover my natural nail completely. Today, one of my nails broke as it was lifting due to this issue. Additionally, my cuticles were left unattended, leaving my 6-day-old nails looking unkempt. If you do visit this salon in a pinch, be sure to check your nails before leaving!
