She warned me that if my son broke anything, I would be held accountable. When my son innocently picked up a pair of sunglasses from the shelf, she harshly scolded him to put it back. It was a distressing experience with a 1-year-old.
I am a frequent visitor who enjoys experimenting with different hairstyles. However, during my last visit, I experienced racial profiling. As a Black individual, I already feel scrutinized in hair stores, but the employee made me feel extremely uncomfortable.
