I decided to give this salon a second chance as a walk-in customer. I inquired about a blowout without a flat iron. The lady mentioned a starting price of $60, but added that it could be higher based on hair length and thickness. It would have been better if they were transparent about pricing from the start. They ended up increasing the price at checkout, which was quite unprofessional. After all the confusion, we simply walked out and won't be returning. I have a stylist in Middletown who provides clear pricing and transparent service, so that's where I'll go.

I visited this salon on December 28, 2024. The staff was incredibly welcoming. I usually get my hair done annually on the same day with highlights. However, this year, I opted for a full hair color as the initial quote of $390 for highlights seemed steep. The service included color, deep conditioning with steam, a trim, and curls. The stylist walked me through each step, reassuring me about the trim length as we all have that fear of losing too much hair! I ended up paying $195, slightly higher than the quoted $190 due to the extra charge for curling, marking the highest amount I've ever spent on a non-braided hairstyle. Given that it was my birthday, I felt the service was well worth it. I would definitely return for the experience, especially if there's a special offer. They accept various payment methods like cash app, Zelle, cards, and cash. I danced the night away with my fabulous curls, feeling like it was truly worth it!

After reading some concerning reviews, I was apprehensive but decided to take my six-year-old daughter, who has extremely curly and thick hair, to this salon. I spoke with Jo, the owner, who explained the detangling process and even offered to engage with my daughter, which I found very considerate. About an hour later, we arrived at the salon on Father's Day, knowing they were closing early. Jo immediately started the gentle straightening process on my daughter. Surprisingly, I was the nervous one, not my daughter. Jo and her team took excellent care of her, leaving her ecstatic with her new look. This will save me a lot of time each day! A big thank you to Jo for making my mornings a bit easier! I highly recommend this place; the pricing matches the exceptional service provided. I will definitely return when needed.
