I am glad I chose Happy Nails and Spa. Bella did an excellent job with my gel manicure and pedicure. She is very talented and professional. She worked very efficiently, while also maintaining great attention to detail. In addition, the interior is clean, pretty, and welcoming. If you’re looking to get your nails done, I would highly recommend this one. Needless to say I am a happy customer. I don't usually get my nails done but when I do I usually visit this place. My birthday was this past Sunday and I wanted to get my nails done but a+ was fully booked so I went to 5 star nail salon in middleton where they completely ruined my nails and refused to refund or rectify them for free. Today I called and explained what happened and A+ was able to accommodate me right after I finished work. They always deliver a great service but my nail technician today took extra time to ensure I was completely satisfied with what I was leaving with and managed to have it done and leave a generous tip for less than what I would've had to pay at 5 star for just the removal and redo. Terrible experience. Unpleasant service, did not receive the massage I paid for. 30 minutes of a therapist applying oil in unwanted areas and neglecting my preferred spots. Insufficient lighting in the room. The therapist was inattentive, asked intrusive questions, and scolded me for not positioning my head correctly. A complete waste of money. The owner/manager was discourteous. I had to stop the massage due to its poor quality, yet still had to pay the full amount. There are far superior establishments in Madison. Update: I was in a difficult situation, and they were extremely understanding. They issued a refund, and I am sincerely appreciative. They genuinely care about their clients. She kept me involved in the process, considering my desired outcome and hair type. With thick hair, I often feel like a burden at salons, but Grace was efficient and delivered top-notch results. Surprisingly, she's a junior stylist, but her work speaks of a seasoned professional. She truly deserves a promotion.
