Mai did an excellent job with my pedicure! She was meticulous, attentive, and unhurried. She exuded warmth and our conversation struck a perfect balance between casual chat and serene relaxation. I will definitely return. Having resided in Madison for a year now, this was by far the finest pedicure experience I've had, despite trying numerous salons.
My experience here was quite disappointing - I came in for both a manicure and pedicure. Joey did a fantastic job with the pedicure. However, Tracy, who performed the manicure, fell short. Despite showing her a picture of the design I desired with different colors, she seemed unsure and repeatedly discouraged my choice of colors, displaying a hint of displeasure towards my request. Although I have previously had a red and black ombré design done successfully, Tracy appeared unable to execute it and placed the blame on my color selection. She appeared rushed to leave, which may have contributed to her frustration. Ultimately, I am dissatisfied with my nails and had to pay extra for a subpar result.
There is a scarcity of Madison nail salons where I can make this claim... the team at 4K Nails consistently delivers exceptional customer care and professionalism. As an African American patron who has frequented various nail salons in the area over the years, I have often sensed an unwelcoming atmosphere. However, during my recent visits to 4K, I felt acknowledged, valued, and exceptionally well-served by the entire staff. One standout member was Joey, who expertly handled my gel nail polish change with precision, kindness, and top-notch service.
