They suggested starting anew due to the extent of the damage, and I must say, they did a phenomenal job while listening to my concerns. I visited for an elegant updo for a festive gathering and brought a photo of the desired style (a chic bun with a braid and curls; refer to image I displayed below). My hair extends past my shoulders, so lack of hair length is not the issue here. The stylist was pleasant and mentioned she could create the look, but did not replicate what was in the photo. She had to redo it twice as she "didn't notice" the braid the first time or comprehend the presence of curls. I inquired multiple times if she needed the picture enlarged or brightened, and she declined. Additionally, the updo was uneven on several occasions and she disregarded my feedback. She also applied excessive gel and hairspray on the fine hairs on my neck and bangs to induce curl without heat, resulting in a stiff, crunchy texture.
