This individual caused me chemical burns that necessitated a trip to the ER. Furthermore, she insisted on charging me the full price for her mistake without showing any remorse. I strongly advise against her services. I am currently pursuing legal action against this salon. This person is solely focused on money and should have her license revoked!
The night before my appointment, I discovered a $75 service was added to my booking, so I contacted Cherhea to inquire about it as I had not requested it. Her response was, "Good evening, yes, it wasn't added to your service," verbatim. I even copied and pasted that message from our text conversation. The added service was a "shampoo and style," which I did not deem necessary as it was just a quick 10-minute straightener curl. Most salons would offer this as a courtesy and certainly not charge $75 for it, so I would not have opted for it. Upon reaching the salon, I was informed that the Stylist was running behind schedule. 25 minutes later, I was called in for my appointment. The all-over color and scalp treatment services I had booked went smoothly, although my scalp felt like it was on fire throughout the hair coloring process, which is not typical. The third service I had booked was eyelash clusters, but I left the salon with glue all over both my eyelids, as evidenced by a video I have, and a random lash cluster left on my eyelid, which she pointed out but did not remove. Towards the end of my appointment, when I was supposed to receive the $75 straightener curl style, I was instead asked to wait in the lobby so she could attend to her next two clients. This marked the end of my appointment, and I should have been prioritized and finished with, but I was left waiting with wet hair so she could accommodate clients she had scheduled to overlap with my appointment. My appointment was scheduled from 1 PM to 3 PM, but due to client overlap, I was not able to leave the salon until 4:11. I contacted Cherhea to address the issue of being overcharged by $90 for my appointment, but she refused, claiming I was aware of the services. However, had I not checked on my appointment beforehand, I would have been completely unaware of the unnecessary $75 service she added without my consent or notification. I messaged her the night before to resolve this matter before coming to the salon, as I was unwilling to pay for a service added without my permission or knowledge. This was my complete experience, and I will be disputing this matter with my bank.
Cherhea did an outstanding job in smoothing out my curly hair! It feels incredibly silky and smooth now! She took the time to explain the process while working on my hair. She was kind and attentive throughout. I will definitely return! Thank you, Cherhea!
