Perhaps the specialist I visited wasn't exceptional.. I scheduled an appointment for two pedicures, I arrived with a male friend. I opted for gel polish while he chose a regular pedicure. However, my gel polish pedicure only lasted about 30 minutes. Interestingly, my male companion received a more thorough and indulgent pedicure, which I would have preferred. My technician did not thoroughly scrub my feet with a file, only using a sponge, leaving calluses behind, nor did she trim my cuticles. I find it hard to believe that I paid $60 for a gel pedicure that appeared haphazardly applied. On the upside, she did wax my eyebrows beautifully.
