My mother and I decided to have our nails done as walk-in clients. The individuals who attended to us, a couple, were pleasant and did an excellent job on our nails! We both opted for gel manicures. I'm rating this 4 stars due to the strong smell of acrylic or acetone and the slightly untidy tools and stations. Despite these minor issues, the pricing and overall experience were good. We plan on returning in the future!
I used to frequent this salon as it's conveniently located near my home and offers reasonable prices. However, after today's experience, I will not be returning. While attempting to address an ingrown toenail, the technician nearly removed my entire nail, resulting in a visit to urgent care and a course of antibiotics due to the excessive depth of the cut. Even the doctor was astonished by the extent of the damage. I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important for others to be aware before undergoing nail services at this establishment. The attached images were taken immediately after my appointment, prior to seeking medical attention.
I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment. I informed them repeatedly that I had been waiting and they were rushing. I arrived at 5:40 and had a pedicure and manicure; however, I was cut multiple times during the process. The service was completed just 3 minutes before closing time at 7 pm. Some of my nails were not properly filled, and when I brought this up, I was met with attitude. It wasn't until I got home and noticed they were burning when washed that I became truly upset and dissatisfied with the outcome of my nails.
