I had been visiting Lucky Nails salon for about 2 years and only Ann did my nails! There were several instances where she was quite rude to me but I still continued to go, not wanting to find a different nail salon! So, my gel nails would last for weeks without any issues after getting them done. Last Saturday I went to get my nails done and requested Ann, the only one I allowed to do my nails. While doing my nails, another customer of a different nationality came in to get her nails done. Ann was kind to her, which is great, but then, while finishing up my nails, she wanted me to vacate her chair and let someone else finish my nails so she could attend to the other customer who had just walked in and would have been after my aunt in line. I even confirmed with her if it's only walk-ins on the weekend and she confirmed that because she is too busy to take appointments on weekends. So, because I insisted that she finish my nails as she always does and that it's not fair to prioritize someone else over me, she told me she wasn't going to do my nails anymore and called me mean! I told her that she was the one being mean and unprofessional for wanting to stop my service to attend to another person, which is very unprofessional! I accused her of playing the race card! She completed my nails, but my aunt said she didn't want her to do her nails after witnessing how she treated me. Now, I got gel nail polish as usual, but within the next 1.5 hours, the polish started pushing up on my thumb! I went back for her to fix it and noticed that the polish was in a white bottle, but earlier it was in a brown bottle. I know that in the polish boxes, there are regular polish and gel polish. I believe she didn't use gel polish for me, which is why I had to return immediately to get my nails fixed. Then, not even a week later, another nail broke off. When I called her, she rudely informed me that after three days, they don't fix nails, but I explained to her that gel polish doesn't chip off in 4 days. She very rudely said she would only fix the polish, not the broken tip, and slammed the phone down!!!! This woman is a joke! I should have listened to a friend who warned me about her, but I don't judge people based on others' opinions. However, I was extremely disappointed in myself for continuing to give my money to a business where the employee, Ann, is rude to certain customers!!!!!

I relocated to the western part of the country around November of '23 and sought a new nail salon... I tried this place first since it was within walking distance from my residence. I wasn't overly impressed with the ambiance, service, or staff... I explored other establishments, even those over an hour away, in search of my ideal "nail sanctuary"... a spot with all the latest styles, designs, etc... recently, I found myself in a bind... in need of a fresh full set and trying to get it done before my noon work shift so... I returned to My Nails due to its proximity to my home. To my astonishment, I encountered a COMPLETELY REVAMPED salon! Completely renovated, new proprietors, simply stunning inside! Upon entry, I was warmly welcomed, asked if I needed a full set done quickly without an appointment and was assured "absolutely!" I was then offered a beverage, "coffee, water?" and guided to a plush, cozy, beautiful chair at a spotlessly clean workstation... the gentleman doing my nails was exceedingly pleasant, hospitable, and professional... we conversed throughout... I learned he was one of the new owners named Alex... he meticulously worked, ensuring each nail was flawless and assisted me in selecting a design theme... and the best part?! They had EVERYTHING you could dream of... high-end stickers, foil wraps, gems, diamonds, powders, glitters, LITERALLY EVERYTHING! I can genuinely say, in over 30 years of frequenting nail salons in the St. Louis and Illinois regions, I have never had a superior experience! My nails were impeccable in every aspect! Shape, thickness, design, consistency, and most importantly... FLAIR! 😝 I have received more compliments from people I encounter daily than ever before! Additionally, the pricing was EXTREMELY reasonable! He even shared his personal number so I could send him pictures of any design ideas before my next appointment to ensure he had the necessary supplies and everything prepared for my visit!! I am delighted to declare that I have officially found my new "nail sanctuary"! You must give them a try! If your previous visits left you underwhelmed, RETURN AGAIN!!! I guarantee you will be impressed this time!

What a great place! I've been looking for a place to get a good haircut since moving to St. Louis 2 yrs ago. Lauren was my hairdresser, we hit it off immediately. She is kind, funny, easy to talk to but most important she is very skilled & knowledgeable about cutting hair. I talked to her about my hair, explained what I was wanting then told her to do what she thought would look good. I cut off a lot of my length & she styled it beautifully. I just hope I can get it to look as cute as she did. She explains what she's doing while she's doing it so that helps. We also talked about all the other services the shop offers, which are many. Massages, pedicures & nails, make up & much more. What a gem of a place I found, I'm so happy with my haircut & met a great person. I will be back!

Yesterday marked my first visit to Just In Style salon for a facial waxing. While the esthetician (Amra) appeared proficient, I discovered burns on my face after leaving, resembling peeled skin on my chin and cheeks. Upon returning to the salon, Amra dismissed my concerns, attributing it to sensitive skin. However, the burns are severe, causing intense stinging and potential scarring. This experience has left me deeply distressed and worried.
