Paola Montoya, the proprietor of this establishment, utilized an unapproved device that caused severe harm to my skin. Throughout the entire session, I experienced unbearable pain, and she persisted despite my distress! Her mantra was "beauty is pain," but thankfully I intervened before she could harm my entire face!! When I raised my concerns about my skin not healing properly, she dismissed me as an overly anxious individual, showing little genuine concern. For months, I battled extreme anxiety due to the harm she inflicted. I had to schedule another appointment just for her to acknowledge me. Prior to confronting her about the damage, I conducted thorough research and sought opinions from 3 reputable Medspas in Charlotte. She acknowledged the severe damage she caused but adamantly refused to assist with the treatment costs. I simply requested her to cover half of the expenses to rectify the harm, to which she initially agreed but then disappeared. I have spent a substantial amount on laser and other treatments to repair the damage. While I am fortunate to afford these treatments, I shudder to think of the impact on someone unable to bear the financial burden. She is a deceiver, and her website is a facade. She even had her "web developer" fabricate false reviews! I am pursuing legal action to prevent others from enduring the same fate. Months have passed, yet my skin remains unhealed. Without the additional treatments, the outcome would have been dire. If you are considering her services despite this warning, ensure her insurance is reliable as she is not even licensed in the United States. Avoid this individual and her establishment at all costs!! A Center for Women's Aesthetics is a reputable Medspa with proper accreditation and insurance, offering Plasma Fibroblast using the authentic device. They currently have enticing specials with prices comparable to hers.
