Their service is sluggish even with only 3 individuals in line, it seems like they struggle to locate items for customers.
My critique pertains to the pharmacy, not the store itself. CVS must be the most dreadful place to have a prescription filled! When it comes to maintenance medications like blood pressure or antidepressants, they do a decent job. However, when you have a prescription for any type of pain medication from your doctor, they are always out of stock or waiting for their order to arrive, or they question if they can even fill it. Pardon me, my spouse and I are not listed as abusers of pain medications. I do not appreciate the way they treat you simply because you are seeking pain relief. I have even had one of the pharmacists decline to fill my prescription for pain medication because she felt I didn't require it yet. It was time to pick up all our medications, including my pain medication, so I simply wanted to grab everything in one visit. I even contacted my insurance company to confirm, and they stated it could be filled at that time. I had to argue with her and inform her that I needed my medication filled so I could pay and leave, and yes, I would be contacting corporate about her. Our health insurance provider, at that time, mandated that we use CVS pharmacy. Since switching to a new insurance company, we are now able to use a locally owned pharmacy, and I couldn't be more pleased. It's a great feeling to support local businesses and steer clear of the large corporate chains. I have not returned to any CVS since this incident.
At times, you may have to endure a slightly lengthier wait than you would prefer.
