The salon is pleasant, and the staff are courteous. However, the quality of the work is subpar. After getting my nails done, they started lifting at the base within a week, and two nails have already come off.
I regret to recount my recent visit. I had a scheduled appointment with rosita, my regular technician whom I've been seeing for the past two years for SNS French and gel French pedicures. Today, I decided to try something different and showed rosita a picture of what I wanted. She honestly admitted that she didn't know how to execute it. I had also booked an appointment with Laura, the manager, who assured me she could fulfill my request. After an hour, my nails turned out thick, not filled properly to the cuticle, and the color wasn't adhering well, appearing almost transparent. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, rosita became upset, halted the process, and told me she didn't know what to do. After a back-and-forth exchange, she suggested I soak off the nails, wasting another hour of my time. She then canceled my pedicure with her. Frustrated by her inability to deliver what she promised based on the picture I showed her, and her subsequent unprofessional behavior, today marked my final visit. I sought services elsewhere where my nails were done correctly. She hasn't deterred me from anything except my regular $100 every two weeks that I used to spend there. Good luck with Laura.
I discovered this establishment through an online search and decided to give it a try. I appreciate the presence of a small parking area on the premises, especially considering the congestion on Springfield Ave. As I didn't have a prior appointment, I waited for approximately 10 minutes before being attended to. Not too bad. AIDA DID AN AMAZING JOB ON MY TOES! I was truly impressed by her dedication and precision. Just a heads up, there's a $2 fee for credit/debit card transactions. Unfortunately, they do not accept American Express or Discover, so it's advisable to carry cash. Their services include nail care and pedicures, and there might be additional offerings that I'm unaware of. They have an ATM available on-site as well. I also appreciate the fact that this establishment seems to have a Hispanic influence (no offense to the Asian community). All the staff were dressed in uniform with Ariel's name elegantly embroidered on their tops. They exuded professionalism!!! I will definitely be returning.
