All show and no substance. Also, quite pricey. I opted for a dermaplane treatment. The ambiance is pleasant, allowing a moment of tranquility before entering the treatment room.
I have visited Woodhouse a few times and the overall experience has been wonderful. I truly adore the ambiance and the way it is run. Some of the massages were decent, as well as my manicure. Being in the same industry, I tend to have higher expectations for technicians and anticipate exceptional service when I am investing the amount of money they charge. Here is a photo of the manicure I received on 5.26.24. I may consider returning.
I came in for a massage and pedicure. The massage by Abby was good, although the room was quite cold. The pedicure, by a technician whose name I can't recall, was disappointing at best. The space was unclean, even more so than most strip mall locations I have visited; I took photos. The chairs were tattered, with the seat and footrest both falling apart. She ran out of my chosen nail color and failed to mention it until I made my selection. The nail swatches were in poor condition - chipped, broken, some entirely off the stick. Without asking for my preference or consent, she cut all my toenails very short, some to the point of pain when filing. If a neighboring toe came into view, she would forcefully push it away, rather than gently. The "leg massage" was just her hands gliding up and down my oiled legs, devoid of any actual massage or pressure. I would not consider returning for a pedicure, especially given the price. I've had much better experiences at places charging probably half the cost. I had higher expectations considering the reputation and pricing of the establishment.
