My recent visit was a letdown, a loyal customer for years. 5th Ave spot made changes, moving the studio downstairs to the shopping area. They removed comfy chairs for both clients and brow specialists, impacting the end result. No privacy, all eyes on you from inside and outside. Studio now near elevator and their storage, constant foot traffic, loud and uncomfortable. No waiting area, standing only. Unhappy about the change, couldn't wait to leave. After 5+ years, won't return. Hope those responsible see this, losing long-term clients for comfort, privacy, and top-notch service. After sending her a photo of my brows a month prior, she advised me to avoid plucking until I saw her. During my appointment, she carefully filled in areas that needed enhancement and explained the importance of letting certain areas grow in more (no plucking between appointments). Her precise tweezing, shaping, and filling made me appear younger instantly. I initially visited for the Swedish and armpit sugaring service but then it was recommended that I try the kelp wax because it’s less painful and just as effective as sugaring. BEST DECISION EVER! Riley waxed me down and she worked so quickly and surprisingly the complete leg service without the kelp wax was the most painful but still bearable! I came for the complete leg service with regular honey wax and was finished in under an hour with all 3 services completed. I must mention, they do utilize the roll-on wax as their standard so if cleanliness is a concern for you, definitely choose something else. Both the receptionist and Riley were extremely kind, reassuring, and helpful.
