I wish I could offer a more positive review because the staff is incredibly kind, but unfortunately, I cannot. Everything about my acrylic manicure was flawless - except inexplicably, each of my nails has these strange specks and black particles in them. They are only visible under direct sunlight, which is why I did not notice them at the salon. I am unsure if it's due to inadequate cleaning of the nails before the final coat or if there was contamination in the acrylic powder itself, resulting in debris. I am truly dissatisfied with the unsightly appearance of my nails. The dark specks and white residue embedded in the powder are distinctly visible upon close inspection even after washing my hands and wiping my nails. The nail color I selected was meant to be a solid blue. I have never encountered this issue at any other nail salon before, hence I am perplexed and somewhat repulsed by what transpired this time.
I adore this spa! I reside in Texas but frequent the metropolis every few months and always make it a point to visit and have my nails pampered by Alex when I am there! I honestly have never received such exceptional nail work and I have been to numerous spas. Alex is extraordinary and always exudes warmth and hospitality. She is a perfectionist in nail care, yet in the most commendable way as she is also remarkably efficient and meticulous in her work!! I invariably depart completely content and I enthusiastically endorse Glamour Nails to everyone! Additionally, Alex is incredibly diligent and kind-hearted, deserving of recognition and appreciation!!!!!
This is the most outstanding, dependable nail salon I have ever encountered. Discovered them approximately 14 months ago and they have aided me in cultivating my nails from scratch. I am employed in the service industry and previously, my nails would chip within a day or two. Now, with gel powder, they endure 2-3 weeks and even then, it's solely because of the nail growth that I need a touch-up. They excel in punctuality for appointments and accommodate me even on short notice. Alex is exceedingly patient, talented, and possesses a keen eye for detail. She recollects your preferences from prior visits and is also highly knowledgeable. I referred a close friend to Alex and she is now a regular patron as well. An exceptional local salon, excelling in spa pedicures too (especially post-work!). I cannot recommend them and Alex highly enough.
