I stumbled upon this salon while searching for a place to quickly trim my hair, and I'm grateful that I did! Albert skillfully handled my fine hair, giving it the precise trim it needed. Additionally, he provided an exceptional blowout that left my hair incredibly soft and smooth. I returned for a second visit solely for another blowout. Highly recommended!

I have visited Jeffrey Stein's salon multiple times with specific requests, and my preferred stylist is Trish. She is truly exceptional and stands out among the many talented stylists I have encountered in Europe. Trish is not only skilled but also kind, approachable, and genuinely interested in ensuring her clients feel great when they leave the salon. She is an artist! I have been frequenting this salon (86th and Broadway) for over two decades. Their reputation has flourished because of their exceptional service. They offer the usual cut and color services, but what sets them apart is their expertise in providing valuable advice and attentively listening to your preferences and ideas. One remarkable aspect is their proficiency in styling men with long hair! My spouse refuses to visit a traditional barbershop! I envy his hair, but that's beside the point. The stylists take the time to understand his preferences, even if he can only articulate the desired length. They skillfully incorporate layers where necessary to enhance his hair's appearance. I initially introduced him to this salon. Having grown up in the vicinity, I now commute from the upper 190s on Broadway. However, the quality of service makes the journey worthwhile. Even before the pandemic, my husband's work schedule made it challenging for him to visit for a haircut during regular hours. I can make a prior appointment, and they are willing to accommodate us by keeping the salon open (within reason)! Their dedication truly exceeds expectations. I've witnessed them skillfully work with wigs that appear incredibly natural. Lastly, I know this review is lengthy! Unfortunately, I have developed a severe fragrance allergy and bring my own products. During my recent visit, they were understanding and didn't make me feel uncomfortable about it. The experience was seamless. If this doesn't persuade you to at least consider trying out the salon, I'm not sure what will!
