I was referred by a colleague to visit Maria at this Hair Salon- what a disaster. I clearly stated my desire to maintain length and just tidy up. I left with a hairstyle reminiscent of the 80s. The back was longer than the sides, resembling a mullet. The front had uneven lengths, and my sideburns were carelessly chopped off without regard for their original length. A truly dreadful experience, I would avoid this place at all costs!
Scheduled an appointment online but had to wait 20 minutes past my appointment time before they began my shave. They were unaware of my booked service, and I had to inform them. It seems they do not keep track of online bookings. After the shave, the barber expected a tip, as if it were obligatory, despite making me wait over 20 minutes. If you cannot adhere to appointment times, at least be humble and not anticipate a tip. It is absurd how entitled the barber appeared. Moreover, I had to provide the tip in cash or through Venmo/Zelle, instead of adding it to the credit card payment. The shave itself was mediocre, as he seemed rushed due to running behind schedule. Upon inspection later, I noticed he missed a few spots. Overall, a disappointing experience.
Appalling in every aspect. Visited for a beard trim and left looking worse due to severe razor burn. To compound matters, despite scheduling a $25 clean-up, they insisted on charging $40 because the inexperienced barber unilaterally decided to use a straight razor without consulting me.
