First visit here, might be the last. Arrived at Lovely Nails shortly after opening. The manicurist who did my pedicure didn't seem to take pride in her work. Found polish on my skin that I had to ask her to remove. The receptionist kept taking in walk-ins ahead of us, so I decided not to wait for my nails to be done. Quite rude. However, my friend opted to wait. They do seem very busy. They should serve their customers with more care as they have just lost my patronage.
These nails are only 2 days old. They are coming off my nails. The nail polish they used is dry, old, expired, and during the UV light curing, it burned my nail. They applied a satin finish, but the paint underneath was still wet. When I left, my nails looked great and felt dry. However, hours later, they started to bubble, peel off, and crack. To top it off, when I went back to inform the shop owner, he was incredibly rude. He tried to blame me, refused to listen to my explanation, but did redo my nails. Unfortunately, the same issue occurred again. This is a dangerous chemical mix. I will never return.
Giving one star because it's required, but I would give zero. Terrible service. Was asked to wait an extra hour because the technician messed up or didn't understand my request. Saw one of them refilling a clear bottle with water since they ran out of the usual liquid for hand washing, while another technician watched me to see if I noticed. Another technician didn't clean around my niece's nails properly. When I couldn't understand her, she got upset and another worker had to step in. Messy environment (dirty countertops, technicians eating without washing hands). They have lost a loyal customer. The receptionist was rude, disrespectful, and loud. He practically told me to be quiet and show respect. I refused, as I was paying for a service. Even after he stopped talking and charged me, I wasn't going to stay silent. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
