Following a change in ownership, my recent visit to NEIWH left me disappointed. The therapist I had lacked warmth and failed to deliver the deep tissue massage I requested. Despite my request for more pressure, it was not accommodated. Moreover, my scheduled hour-long session was cut short to just 45 minutes, with no feedback sheet provided. At $35 per hour, plus an expected gratuity, the experience fell short of its value. It seems that the quality of service at NEIWH may vary depending on the therapist, as I have had better experiences in the past.
The educators at NEIWH are skilled mentors shaped by graduates who bring practical knowledge to train professionals in Massage Therapy. They impart various techniques like Swedish, Neuromuscular, Eastern Traditional Medicine, and a range of specialized modalities, including the exclusive Grigorian Method, developed by the school's founder and only taught at NEIWH. Teachers and staff acknowledge each individual's learning pace, guiding them through their education effectively and excellently. I am appreciative of the personal and professional growth I've experienced at NEIWH.
