Visited the store on 10/19 hoping to receive help picking a few items. The first employee who asked if I needed help directed me to where I could clean off the makeup I had tried on my arm. I then mentioned I was searching for the best match for my skin tone. She smiled, said oh, and walked away. I thought perhaps she didn't hear me. I returned to my search where employee 2 inquired if I needed help. I replied yes, stating I was looking for the right makeup to match my skin. She proceeded to yawn and walk off. I was taken aback by this. At this point, I decided to leave the store and go elsewhere. Perhaps just a rough day at this location. Definitely a negative experience for me.
I do not post often. In my life, I've maybe done five Google reviews. I visited to praise the Ulta Salon. I do not typically spend on myself, so it was tough for me to consider getting a gloss and a haircut! Annie, my stylist, was patient and I trusted her. For the first time in probably decades, I have the best haircut and my very first gloss. Thank you for making me feel beautiful!
My pal and I had a less than stellar time at Ulta Beauty. We mistakenly sprayed a product, thinking it was a tester. The employee snapped at us for using it, stating it wasn't a tester. Even after we apologized, she was still obviously annoyed and mentioned she had to discard the bottle in a passive-aggressive manner. We know it was our mistake for not inspecting well enough, but she could have been kinder about it. It left us feeling truly uncomfortable and unwelcome afterward.
