Since Leigh departed, this establishment has undergone a transformation. My child and I were loyal patrons, but after today, we won't be returning. I had scheduled an appointment for my daughter to get a haircut and a light brown color at 10 am, lasting until 11:50 am. However, they didn't finish with her until 1:30 pm. We arrived at 9:45 am. Despite knowing we traveled from Texas, they didn't have the courtesy to inform us about the delay. They repeatedly claimed it would be another 25 minutes, only to extend the wait each time. On top of it all, they charged us $85 previously for the same service, but this time it was $150. Not impressed.
The individual who styled my hair was pleasant, but it wasn't exactly what I had in mind. They did a dark brown root smudge followed by balayage. Despite expressing my desire for a change from my red hair, the final color didn't align with what we discussed or the photos we reviewed. I anticipated the balayage to be lighter, not retaining the red hue already present. They did a good job curling my hair before I left. Additionally, they worked on my eyebrows, but the right one wasn't fully completed on top, requiring me to finish it at home. I'm disappointed that I spent $195 and didn't get the balayage color I desired, as it still ended up red despite my request for something different. However, the overall look is decent, and their balayage technique is quite good.
