Since Leigh departed, this establishment has undergone a transformation. My child and I were loyal patrons, but after today, we won't be returning. I had scheduled an appointment for my daughter to get a haircut and a light brown color at 10 am, lasting until 11:50 am. However, they didn't finish with her until 1:30 pm. We arrived at 9:45 am. Despite knowing we traveled from Texas, they didn't have the courtesy to inform us about the delay. They repeatedly claimed it would be another 25 minutes, only to extend the wait each time. On top of it all, they charged us $85 previously for the same service, but this time it was $150. I refuse to go anywhere else now; it's affordable, spotless, and the lady (whose name I have yet to learn, but she is like a genuine angel) consistently leaves my eyebrows looking flawless. I was recommended to Alex a few years ago by a friend. I had let my self-care routine slip for a while, including neglecting my hair. When I first visited Alex, my hair was very long and thick. I left feeling like a new person, and it was affordable. Since then, I have only gone to Alex! The salon is on the first floor of what looks like a house from the outside, but it's very clean inside. Alex is kind and easy to talk to. One thing I appreciate is that if I want something different or have a small issue with my haircut, she is understanding and tries to accommodate my preferences. I usually give her a general idea of what I want and trust her expertise. If there's something I'm not happy with, she values feedback and works to make it right until I am satisfied. Her prices are very fair. Despite not advertising, she has plenty of customers due to word of mouth, showing her dedication to customer satisfaction. I have no intention of going anywhere else anytime soon! Thank you, Alex!
