My initial visit here was yesterday, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. I was on a trip with my companions for a day out, and this was the selected destination due to the positive feedback. I specifically asked for a dip manicure on my natural nails. The technician merely trimmed the skin around my nails and applied cuticle oil. This service set me back $62. The dip powder was applied all over my nails and skin. In my usual nail salon, a dip manicure includes pushing back cuticles, trimming the skin around the nails, a thorough hand and forearm massage, and cuticle oil, all for $55.
$68 for this unacceptable outcome! They appeared fine on 6-25-24, with the polish, shape, and glue all neatly done. However, the service was subpar. Over the phone, they quoted $42 for a dip and tip, and $14 for regular toe polish, but upon arrival, I was charged a completely different amount. The work done was messy and lacked professionalism.
I have never had a single negative experience at AV. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality you receive, and the individuals there are incredibly friendly. The establishment is always impeccably clean as well. My mother and I now visit every fortnight. She always opts for a set, while I choose clear polish, and we leave feeling fantastic. Their pedicures are consistently exceptional; I have now sampled nearly all of their offerings, and it is truly worth it!
