What an exceptional experience I had there! Alex is a phenomenal professional and individual! I don't want to speak negatively about other places in this area (Willow Creek), but why did it take me so long to realize that the precious time spent at a salon should be enjoyable? Many of us can agree that going for a manicure and having him "hold" our hands while conversing in a different language with his colleagues (often not about us but about the new client who just arrived) is not pleasant, right? And must I mention when they request payment before completion and gauge your worth by the tip you give them? Enough was enough for me, so I made the decision to visit this establishment. It's local, just a few blocks from my residence, small, cozy, welcoming, and caters to one client at a time. During my visit, I noticed that Alex was genuinely attentive and caring towards me. I had acrylic nails from another place that were poorly done and needed fixing, and he politely and professionally elaborated on the issues without blaming the previous technician who rushed through it. Additionally, it was heartening to witness the lady who came after me appearing to be a "regular," as I observed Alex cheerfully greeting her as I was leaving, engaging in light conversation about recent events. Delightful! The cost? $4 more than the large mall salon. Alex's care? Priceless! Give it a try!
