I entered last week, set an appointment, and phoned today 10/28 @3:30 to confirm my appointment time (4 or 4:30). I was informed I didn't have one. The receptionist seemed annoyed and stated she couldn't assist me, saying, "Do you wish to schedule an appointment or something ~because I don't know how to assist you," in a dismissive tone. I've never encountered such rudeness at a salon and will not return. No thanks~
I came to this salon yesterday for the first time and had my hair cut by Tracy. Tracy was pleasant, but there was a mix-up somewhere. I requested: 1) 4-5 inches off my long hair 2) that it should still be long enough for a ponytail 3) a few inches past shoulder length, NOT shoulder length My hair is now at shoulder length, if not shorter. A proper ponytail is out of the question for at least the next 6 months, it's that short. I believe around 9-10 inches were cut off. I paid in a daze, thinking it wasn't as bad as I imagined. The cut itself isn't bad, just not what I anticipated. Oh well, it's only hair and will grow back! In the meantime, I'll embrace the short 'do.
My hair is fragile: fine strands with thinning from stress. Today was my initial visit here, and for the first time, my stylist, LeAnn, paused combing my hair upon finding a tangle. She patiently untangled it with her fingers; a small gesture that spoke volumes about her character. I appreciate her care and skill, and recommend booking with LeAnn if you seek the same level of attention!
