Inexpensive rates, friendly staff! I went in for a fill-in and a pedicure. The gentleman was pleasant, but he didn't fill in my nails properly. The color I chose was a nude base, but he used a pink/clear base, which I questioned. I trusted the process, but unfortunately, it didn't turn out well. Limited polish options with not-so-great colors. When he was working on my nails, I asked him to clean up before the polish dried, but he ignored me. My nails ended up bulky and uneven. Initially, I wanted regular acrylic polish, but it looked watery, so we switched to no-chip, which also appeared watery. We had to apply six coats for it to resemble polish. I've had acrylic no-chip nails before and never experienced chipping, no matter how rough I was. It's only been three days, and my nails are already chipping badly. My toes look decent, and the lady who did them was nice. However, my nails resemble a child's work. The lady seemed skilled, but she was fully booked, so I had to go with the gentleman.
Excellent value and quality work! I usually book my appointment one or two days in advance and am seated within three minutes of arrival. Very satisfied!
I rarely do this but I am deeply disappointed with my visit to this salon on Friday. I was truly dissatisfied with how my nails turned out. I simply wanted a basic full set with a white tip, but they looked terrible. To add to my dismay, it's only Tuesday and my no-chip polish has already chipped on two nails. I paid $50 for this.
